				Directions: Proceed through Angels Camp on Highway 4 toward Murphys. In Vallecito, turn right onto Parrots Ferry Road and take an immediate left onto Batten Road. If you miss Parrots Ferry, you can turn right onto Batten Road 1/4 mile up Highway 4.



				In 1998, the Irish family left the Valley in pursuit of their dreams, hoping to find a quaint location where they could raise their children and build a winery. The small town of Vallecito had both, and the historic Batten house became the foundation on which this dream would grow. The Batten farmhouse, built in 1867, offered the family a new beginning, and the 8.3 acres was the perfect place to plant grapes and start their winery.


		In August 2003, the family opened the doors to Irish Vineyards and realized their dream. Now the family-owned and operated winery offers small lots of finely crafted wines, created and aged to perfection. Come and visit to enjoy beautiful surroundings and good company.
